Mainstream house for men
Mainstream House is a working recovery house located in Riverhead, NY. Since 2004 we’ve helped countless men recover from drug and alcohol addiction. Our program is designed to provide a safe atmosphere for men while they build a strong foundation in early recovery and develop healthy habits that lead to a life free from active addiction.
The recovery in the Riverhead area is outstanding. The meetings are everywhere, N.A. or A.A. The meetings keep me clean but it was the fact that I had a safe clean environment to go home to that gave me the ability to stay in recovery. The fact that I lived with guys that were struggling to make it on there own made the bond between us unbreakable; we became family. We learned that we were not alone and that together nothing could stop us. The life I lead today never would have happened if I had not gone to The Mainstream House. Doc, Over a decade clean

"If downtown Riverhead’s streets are looking cleaner lately, you can blame Bobby Hartmann Jr. Hartmann, founder of Mainstream House, a company that operates sober homes, has established a new nonprofit to assist people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. One of the first things the new Mainstream Integrative Wellness Inc. has taken on is a business-district litter patrol, staffed (mostly) by Mainstream House volunteers fulfilling court-imposed community service requirements." read more
